Description

Nals Margreid Angra Pinot Noir 2024Nals Margreid is a winery in the Alto Adige Italy. The winery was established as a cooperative in 1932 and they source fruit from over 300 trusted growers in the area. The focus is always on quality and being ecologically aware. They have made a name for themselves highlighting local varieties and the differences between the multitude of tiny vineyard sites. Bright and expressive, with aromas of ripe red cherries, wild strawberries, and delicate

especially with food: this will partner up particularly well with fish

As members of Sustainable Wines of Great Britain they follow methods of vineyard management that work in harmony with nature rather than rely on heavy spraying

Each wine is separately matured in its own solera for 12 years before blending and an additional three years ageing

The wine is then matured in the same oak for 12 months and aged in the bottle for an additional 8 months before release

Up up and away

they’ve brought this tradition back with finesse

leading to a long

offering deep flavors of dark fruit

Her journey to create her own wines was ignited during a collaboration with Californian winemaker Helen Kiplinger

just below the Champeaux 1er Cru

Every step is done by hand

A blend of single malts from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries and a unique grain whisky
