Wall Piece - WP39Flash Set is a series of sculptures which are made by casting, carving, and painting gypsum cement. The pieces are spray painted from hard angle, using the impression of light and shadow to capture a form. Each piece represents a different experiment, elaborating on the one before by slightly altering the tool, process, or sequence of steps used to make it. The result is a grid of interconnected ideas, documenting the evolution of an improvised craft.
