It's an exuberant display of all the finery that surrounds us at this particular time and one can't help feeling invigorated and lively

the gathering of friends and family and food and the no nonsense approach to living that the Italians seem to pull off with flair and sophistication

whispering trees to one side and the rhythmic sea to the other

and into the more natural and meandering pace of your day

This was my first time travelling in Italy and my first time exploring the beautiful Tuscan village

moving forward and feeling renewed

But on closer inspection it was the history that permeated those hills
