Here is a lovely chronograph from the 1940s, cased in an elegant 37mm steel casing, featuring rounded pushers and painted Arabic numerals with radium on the original black dial. The case remains in beautiful condition with a snap case back and unusual flat bezel. The black dial has the Minerva scroll signature, a tachymeter

which gets its name from the fact that the hour markers are positioned more towards the centre of the dial

The black glossy dial has two sub-dials and a tachymeter and text that is galvanically printed in silver

The watch comes on a Rolex leather strap that is fitted with a yellow Rolex gold-plated buckle

The 34mm yellow gold case is in great condition with stunning guilloche finish and ASPREY signature in the lower half
